<p>如果任意丢弃，废弃的碱性电池对环境极为有害。由于它们其中大部分仍可提供0.8伏到1.3伏的电压，扔掉也是不小的浪费。这款由Sungwoo Park和Sunhee Kim设计的”Energy Seed“提供了一种变废为宝的解决方法：即采用废弃碱性电池来为LED路灯供电。该装置有一个插槽，几乎各种尺寸电池都适用，它会把废弃电池的剩余电能提供给一个高效节能LED环形灯，用于人行道的照明。</p>
